A community of 636 homes in the University Park neighborhood of Irvine, CA
Welcome to Village Park!
Nestled between Mason Regional Park and University Community Park, the master-planned community of Village Park is one of the premier “villages” of Irvine’s University Park. Residents of the community's 636 single-family homes enjoy 38 open acres of expansive greenbelts with lush landscaping and mature trees, as well as a wide variety of recreational facilities for children and adults. Restaurants, shops, and the public library are within strolling distance, while Village Park’s location just minutes from the 405 Freeway offers convenient access to Orange County and beyond. Bus service links the community to both UCI and IVC.
Note to owners, prospective buyers, and real estate professionals:
Short-term rentals (periods of less than 31 days) of whole homes or rooms are prohibited in the City of Irvine, and thus, in Village Park.
June 17, 2016 City of Irvine notice: "With the advent of internet sites such as Airbnb, VRBO and others, there has been an increase in vacation or short-term rentals within the City over the past several years. Such an arrangement is considered to be a hotel / motel use under the City Municipal Code when accommodating stays of less than 31 consecutive days. Because hotel / motel uses are only permitted in non-residential zones in the City of Irvine, any short-term rental in a residential community would not be permitted."
Village Park reports known and suspected short-term rentals to City Code Enforcement.
